Allie Desmond PT — Physical Therapist
Biography
Allie grew up in Howard County Maryland and is a physical therapist
Allie’s interest in becoming a physical therapist began when she was in high school and injured her knee while playing volleyball. Allie was impressed by how much physical therapy helped her knee get even stronger than it was before the injury and decided that she wanted to help others get stronger and back to doing what they loved too.
Allie earned her B.S in Health Science from Stockton University in south Jersey in December 2018. Allie played volleyball all 4 years of undergrad and In her senior season Allie became conference player of the year and received All-America Honorable Mention recognition. Allie then went back home to Maryland where she worked as a physical therapy aide at a different CAO office before going to back to Stockton University for PT school. Allie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2022.
In her spare time Allie enjoys practicing yoga every day and plans to do yoga teacher training in the future. She also enjoys going to the gym, hiking, traveling, going to concerts, and relaxing a home watching her favorite shows.
